MEET SID, PECKHAM
BASED FLORIST
Born out of lockdown in 2020, Sid’s Flowers is a Peckham-based floristry studio dedicated to creating blooming great flowers for great people.
What began with small bunches for WFH desks—perfectly sized for pint glasses or repurposed bottles—has blossomed into a studio offering a wide range of services. From bouquet deliveries and table arrangements to bespoke wedding florals and large-scale installations, Sid’s Flowers brings creativity and care to every project.
Today, the studio works with individuals, brands, and couples, creating everything from intimate registry office florals to show-stopping designs for full-day celebrations and event activations.
Sid, the lead florist, is a proud South Londoner and self-taught florist.
With a background in the fashion industry, Sid’s journey into floristry began during lockdown, inspired by countless days spent nurturing her rooftop garden in Peckham. COVID may have prompted the career change, but her passion for creating stunning floral designs has shaped Sid’s Flowers into what it is today.

OUR COMMUNITY
At Sid’s, we’re committed to supporting our community and finding meaningful ways to give back.
One of our key initiatives is the annual Sid’s & Friends Fundraising Fair, held at The Old Nuns Head. This event provides a welcoming space for queer, non-binary, POC, and female artists, as well as small business owners, to showcase and sell their work.
In addition to fostering community connections, we use this event to raise funds for important causes, including gender-affirming surgeries and Medical Aid for Palestine.

OUR SUSTAINABILITY
At Sid’s Flowers, we’re committed to creating beautiful floral designs with care for the environment in mind. Whether it’s weddings, events, or everyday bouquets, we make conscious choices to reduce waste, support ethical growing practices, and operate responsibly.

Seasonal & Local First: We prioritise using seasonal blooms and support British growers whenever possible to reduce our carbon footprint and champion local farming.

No Floral Foam: We avoid using single-use floral foam in our designs and instead use reusable, biodegradable, or natural mechanics for installations and arrangements.

Reusable Materials: Vessels, props, and mechanics are reused or repurposed where possible. For weddings and events, we offer hire options to reduce single-use items.

Minimal Packaging: Our bouquets are wrapped in recyclable or compostable materials, and we keep plastic use to a minimum across all areas of the business.

Thoughtful Waste Management: Any leftover flowers are composted, repurposed, or donated when possible, and we work to keep waste from landfill.
We’re always learning and adapting, and we believe that floristry can be both joyful and kind to the planet.
